Help a charity for free

These days it has become easier and easier to help a charity financially at absolutely no cost to yourself. Follow these simple steps and you too can become a modern day philanthropist.

1. Start searching. The next time you use a search engine, try Magictaxi.com instead, it uses the Yahoo search engine but it is paid everytime someone makes a search on the website. 50% off all revenue is dontated to a different charity each day. (Charities include Barnardos, BHF, RSPCA, Shelter, NCH, The Lifeboats, Marie Curie).

2. Get Clicking. Theanimalrescuesite.com is an American website that makes money from people clicking the advertising links on the website, you can click once perday, everyday and 100% off the money made does towards helping feed rescued animals.

3. Signup for newsletters. I saw this a while ago I presume it still works, if you signup to the British Ariways email newsletter and put the code UNICEF in the promotions box, they will donate 50p to unicef. Click this link and it will fill the promotions box in for you British Airways Unicef.

4. Save your stamps. There is still a demand for used postage stamps, visit recylcenow.com for any local stamp collecting . (Charities that are collecting stamps include RSPB, Guide dogs for the blind, Oxfam).

5. Donate your old ink cartridges. If you use a Lexmark, Canon or Hewlett Packard printer your old ink cartridges can be donated to charity, to find which charities accept them read my article. Ink Cartridges.

6. Change your ISP (internet service providor) to Surefish.co.uk. Surefish.co.uk are a division of the charity Christian Aid. Any profit generated is used to help Chrisitian Aids work, and they have no dealings with any unethical companies.
