Make money from paid survey sites

Survey sites, are sites which you can sign up to, and who will request you fill in surveys on different subjects for them. These companies get paid by other companies to find out what people think about things, and a lot of them offer a small incentive to the participants for taking part, and this can be a gift voucher, or a small payment. Some of them offer you points, or cash which is stored in your account with them until you reach a certain figure and then sent to you in the form of a cheque or voucher or other payment.

There are lots of different survey sites out there, and the key to making money from them is to sign up to lots of these sites and be patient. It’s important to remember you are never going to earn a living from filling in surveys online, but by signing up to a few, and filling in every survey they send you that you can, you can earn something worth having.

Below, I’ve laid out details of a number of these survey sites, with links and information about each one and details of how they pay. Hopefully this will act as a good guide to getting started in online survey filling for money.

YouGov
Sends you e-mails containing links to surveys on the site - mainly political and consumer based surveys. You earn money for these usually about 50p - £1.20 per survey. The money is stored in your account with them until you reach £50 at which point they send you a cheque. It will depend on the number of surveys you receive and fill in, but you can usually reach £50 in 6mths to 1 year.

Pureprofile
Sign up here and get paid for short surveys - usually aprox 50p - £1 for each one, they’re a bit slow coming through, but you can cash it in for a cheque when you reach £25. It’s worth logging into this site every few days as well, as they sometimes let you do searches to look for things and pay you a few pence (normally 5p) for doing that – this is only ever a maximum of once per day, but of course it will help your total to increase that little bit more.

Juicy Brains Panel
Links to surveys are sent to you by e-mail, and surveys are normally worth £1 when completed. When you have £5 in your account, you can take payment in the form of Amazon vouchers. Oh, and even if you don’t qualify for a survey, they still pay you a small amount. Normally around 20-25p.

That’s What I think
Survey site, pays you points for doing surveys (approx 400 points per survey) you can also refer 5 people (max) and get 20% of what they earn too for they’re first year of membership, and 100 points for each when you refer them. Save up your points and then exchange them thus: 1500 points = £5 amazon voucher, 2500 = £10 amazon voucher, 4000 = £20 amazon voucher.

Pinecone
I can’t give you a link to this because you can ONLY join if you can find one of their banner ads when they are recruiting. If you CAN find one then DO sign up as they pay £4 in luncheon vouchers for every survey you do, and they’re very reliable. (Luncheon vouchers can be used in Tesco, Sainsburys, McDonalds, Burgerking, Pret & loads of other places). One of the highest paying survey sites around, just a shame it’s so hard to find a link for!

Global Test Market
Global test market – They send you e-mails containing links to surveys on the site, and you save up points till you have 1000 which equates to $50 then you can request a cheque. ($50 is about £25ish). The cheques take about a month or so to arrive, but when they send them, they’re pre-converted into your local currency so you don’t incur a charge for banking a cheque of another currency.

Ciao
Although this site is primarily a site where you can write opinions on products, I’ve included it here because they also send out surveys for people to do. Any money you earn from surveys or writing opinions on products, goes into your account on their site, and when you reach £5 or above, you can request payment. They pay by BACS so direct transfer to your bank account.

Lightspeed
This site sends you links to surveys by e-mail, and awards you points for completing them. Surveys are normally worth between 100 and 200 points each. When you have 115 points you can cash out to paypal for £1 (this goes up in increments so 230 = £2 etc.) or you can swap your points for items such as 550 points can be exchanged for a £5 gift certificate at HMV or Amazon or Prezzybox, or you can choose items like a mug, breakfast bowl, hairdryer, paperweight, walking stick, cooler bag, calculator, microscooter, hand blender, hair straighteners, slow cooker or computer game.
